Bible Verses to Explore: Revelation 19:6-10
Revelation 19:9 talks about the “wedding meal of the Lamb,” saying, ““Then the angel said to me, ‘Write this: What a great blessing there is for those who are invited to the
wedding meal of the Lamb!’ Then the angel said, ‘These are the true words of God.’” What is the “wedding meal of the Lamb?”
The wedding meal of the Lamb is the best party in the world! It will be a great banquet with the Lamb of God, Jesus Christ himself, as the guest of honor. The wedding meal of the Lamb will celebrate of the “wedding” between Jesus (the groom) and the Church (his bride). It will celebrate the beginning of Jesus’ kingdom.
How can you receive an invitation to this wonderful party?
Tell Jesus that you believe that he is God. Tell Jesus that you believe that he died because of your sins. Then ask Jesus to forgive you for your sins.
After you do these things, you will be given and invitation to the wedding meal of the Lamb. Now you can look forward to the party!
Please pray with me. Heavenly Father, I believe you are God and I believe you took the punishment for my sins. Forgive me. Thank you for inviting me to your party. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
