Wednesday at the Well: Psalm 134:2 - Hands

Bible Verses to Explore: Psalm 134:2

Hands can write a note to encourage the downhearted.

Hands can wipe away the tears of the sad.

Hands can offer a meal to the hungry.

Hands can build a house for the homeless.

Hands can lift the fallen up from the ground.

Hands can turn the pages of a book for a child.

Hands can carry groceries for the weak or tired.

Hands can offer a gift to the needy.

Hands can wipe the brow of the ill.

Hands can clap to cheer on the victorious.

Psalm 143:2 gives us the most important use for our hands. This verse says, “Lift up your hands in the sanctuary and praise the LORD.”

Don’t be shy! Raise up your hands and praise God, fold your hands in reverence and worship the Lord, then busy your hands in service to the people around you.

Let’s also use Psalm 141:2 as our prayer today as we close our time together. Heavenly Father, “May my prayer be set before you like incense; may the lifting up of my hands be like the evening sacrifice.” Lord God, guide our hands. Use them for Your glory, honor, and service. In Jesus’ name. Amen.

Thanks for visiting today! Hope to see you next time. (If you haven’t already downloaded the Inductive Study Guide, remember to do that – it’s free!

God bless!
