Wednesday at the Well: Jeremiah 23:23-24 - You Can't Hide from God

Bible Reading: Jeremiah 23:23 & 24

If you steal a candy bar and no one sees you, did you get away with it? If you smoke a cigarette and no one sees you, did you get away with it? If you drink a can of beer and

no one sees you, did you get away with it?

Even if there are no other people around to catch you do things that you know are wrong, God is there. In verse 24 of our Bible reading God says, “Someone might try to hide from me in some hiding place. But it is easy for me to see that person, because I am everywhere in heaven and earth.”

God sees everything. In Jeremiah 32:19 God says through the prophet Jeremiah that God sees “everything that people do.”

God knows everything, even our thoughts. In Ezekiel 11:5 God says, “I know what you are

thinking.”

Please, give your heart and life to God. Do and say and think only things that please Him. Why? God will bless you and You can't hide from God!

“Your Spirit is everywhere I go. I cannot escape your presence.” Psalm 139:7

Prayer: Heavenly Father, help me to always please You with my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
