Bible Verses to Explore: Ephesians 1:7-8
Do you feel like God could never forgive you? Do you believe that you have done so many bad things that God would never forgive you? Do you think that you don’t deserve
to be forgiven?
God can forgive you for anything and everything that you have ever done. God will forgive you but not because you deserve forgiveness, but because God loves you! In fact, God has promised that “In him [Jesus] we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.”
Take the next seven days and read about the forgiveness that God has promised to give you if you will only ask for it and accept it.
Day 1: Psalm 51
Day 2: Luke 15:11-32
Day 3: John 3:16-21
Day 4: Romans 5:6-21
Day 5: Romans 6
Day 6: Colossians 2:13-23
Day 7: Hebrews 10:16-22
I hope this reassures you that God truly can and will forgive you!
Here is one last verse of assurance for you, 1 John 1:9 – “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” 1 John 1:9
