Bible Verses to Explore: 2 Timothy 1:12
Are you afraid to give Jesus control of your life? Do you think you won’t be able to live the God’s way?
God doesn’t expect you to change overnight or do the things He wants you to do by yourself.
When you ask Jesus to be your Savior God forgives all your sin – past, present, and future. Then the Holy Spirit begins to gently, gradually teach you to live God’s way. God will never leave you to struggle alone. He’s always there to help you. The Spirit will guide you and protect you from future temptations and from your own weaknesses. That is what God promises in Deuteronomy 31:8, “The Lord himself goes before you and will be
with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
God has also promised to teach you the things He wants you to know and do. That’s what Psalm 32:8 tells us, “The Lord says, “I will teach you and guide you in the way you should live. I will watch over you and be your guide.”
Please, believe that God will keep His promise and help you live His way. Accept Jesus today.
Once you have Jesus in your life, remember Paul’s words in 2 Corinthians 7:1 – “Dear friends, we have these promises from God. So we should make ourselves pure—free from anything that makes our body or our soul unclean. Our respect for God should make us try to be completely holy in the way we live.”
Please pray with me. Heavenly Father, we believe that You will forgive all of our sins, past, present, and future. We trust You to keep Your promises. You are awesome! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
