Bible Reading: Psalm 150:1
Psalm 150:1 says, “Praise the LORD.” One way to do that is to pray, sing, read, or mediate on God’s word. Today’s devotional is a bit different. It is a paraphrase of Psalm 150. A
paraphrase is rewriting a verse or passage of the Bible using your own words. Writing your own paraphrase of a verse or passage from the Bible is a wonderful way to praise and worship the Lord.
Please, read and enjoy my paraphrase of Psalm 150 below. Then spend some time praising and worshipping God by writing your own paraphrase of Psalm 150 or another psalm.
Praise the Lord,
Everything in heaven and on earth.
Praise the Lord,
For showing us His strength through
Actions that are more wonderful than we can imagine.
PRAISE THE LORD,
In music and dancing and song.
Let every person, animal, and creature that breathes
Use his or her breath to
PRAISE THE LORD!
“You are worthy, our Lord and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being.” Revelation 4:11
Prayer: Heavenly Father, may every word I speak bring glory and praise to Your name and to the name of Jesus. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
