Bible Reading: Hebrews 10:23
Here’s a decision-making tip: It is never EVER right to do anything that might compromise your faith in Christ!
Instead, we should obey the words of Hebrews 10:23 which says, “Let us hold unswervingly to the hope we profess, for he who promised is faithful.”
* We don’t need to seek advice about such decisions.
* We don’t need to look in the Bible for wisdom or insight on such things.
* We don’t need to ask, “W.W.J.D.?” about such questions.
* We don’t need to ask God, “Should I or shouldn’t I?” or, “Is this right or wrong?”
If something could, even possibly, diminish, compromise, or weaken our faith in Christ, it is always – without exception – wrong. Period.
“It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.” Galatians 5:1
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You, for being so clear. Help me to never do anything that would compromise my faith or my testimony. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
