Bible Reading: Jeremiah 31:3
God wants us to come to Him for everything. He wants us to tell Him all of our troubles, heartaches, sorrows, successes, and joys. He wants us to ask Him for all of our needs,
wants, and desires.
However, there is one thing for which we don’t ask God – His love. In Jeremiah 31:3, “The LORD appeared to us in the past, saying: ‘I have loved you with an everlasting love; I have drawn you with loving-kindness.’”
We don’t have to ask God to love us because He already does. God has loved each and every one of us since before time began – before the earth was even created!
Not only that, God’s love for us is eternal. He will love us forever. His love for us will never end.
We never have to ask God to love us – then again – maybe God wants us to ask Him to show us how much He loves us. After all, we can never have too much love.
“No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:37-39
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I know that You love me. Please continuing showing me Your love over and over again. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
