Leave a Legacy

Bible Reading: Job 22:21

In Job 22:21, Job spoke of a prosperity that is promised to everyone who submits his or her live totally to God. This verse reads, “Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this

way prosperity will come to you.”

When your life on earth is over, will you have accomplished anything worthwhile? Will you have left a legacy worth remembering? How can you know for sure?

Every time you choose to do something, your action should –

* Show God that you love Him.

* Show God that He has first place in your life.

* Demonstrate to God that you are willing to obey Him.

* Demonstrate to God that you are willing to serve Him.

* Show other people that you love them.

* Share God’s offer of salvation with other people.

* Model obedience to God for other people to see.

* Model willingness to serve God for other people to see.

If your daily choices and actions do these things, you will be able to know that, at the end of your earthly life, you have lived an eternally successful life and left a legacy worth remembering.

“But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” Matthew 6:33

Prayer: Heavenly Father, let me live my life so that when people remember me, they think of You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
