Hard to Answer Questions

Bible Reading: 1 Corinthians 10:31

Who to date? When to date? Where to go? What to do? Should I kiss? Should I hold hands? Should I….? Is it okay to…?

Dating is full of questions. Some of the answers may not be easy to find. However, if you follow Paul’s advice in today’s verse, the majority of the questions will answer themselves. “Whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God” is one of the best answers you can find.

The next time you are faced with one of those hard-to-answer questions, follow Paul’s advice in 1 Corinthians 10:31 which says, “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.” (Emphasis added.) Paul advises that we ask ourselves if what we are considering doing will bring glory to God. Will it please God? Will He feel proud that you did it? Will He say, like the master in Matthew 25:21, “Well, done”? If so, what better answer could you have? If not, avoid that action and thank God for saving you from disaster.

“Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your body.” 1 Corinthians 19 & 20

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for helping me find clear answers to hard questions. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
