Bible Reading: Job 42:2
Your thoughts, opinions, and choices are important to God. He cares about them and He knows which thoughts, opinions, and choices are in your best interest. He wants
your thoughts, opinions and choices to be the same as His. However, God allows you to think your own thoughts, state your own opinions, and make your own choices.
Job 42:2 says, “I know that you can do all things; no plan of yours can be thwarted.” Job was saying that, somehow, in God’s great wisdom, He is able to complete His perfect plan for your life, the lives of those around you, and the rest of the world in spite of your wrong thoughts, foolish opinions, and bad choices.
God wants what is best for your life. Obeying God and doing things His way is the easiest way to attain that goal, but, even when you stubbornly choose your own path, God loves you so much that He is still able to use you to complete His perfect plan.
“‘For I know the plans I have for you,’ declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’” Jeremiah 29:11
Prayer: Heavenly Father, make my thoughts, opinions and choices the same as Yours. Use me in the best way possible to complete Your perfect plan. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
