Getting to Know God's thoughts

Bible Reading: Isaiah 40:13

Have you ever wondered what God thinks?

Just as you have some thoughts that are your own, thoughts that no one else knows unless you choose to reveal them, God has thoughts that are His personal, private ideas

and plans. Isaiah 40:13 tells us that we can’t fully understand God’s thoughts, saying, “Who has understood the mind of the LORD, or instructed him as his counselor.”

While God hasn’t shared all of His thoughts with us, He has shared many of them. The Bible contains those thoughts. God had more than 40 different men record many of His most important thoughts, ideas, plans, and warnings. They are there, free and open to the public for anyone – everyone – to read, understand, and use to get to know God better.

Plan some time each day to read God’s thoughts and get to know Him better.

“The Lord says, ‘My thoughts are not like yours. Your ways are not like mine.’” Isaiah 55:8

Prayer: Heavenly Father, reveal Yourself to me through Your thoughts. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
