Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 12:1-11
Do you feel like you would really like to do great things for God, but know you aren’t capable of doing anything really amazing? Do you believe that you aren’t smart enough,
strong enough, brave enough or whatever enough for God to be able to use you?
You are in the same shape as the Apostle Paul – weak and helpless – and look at how God used him!
The weaker we are, the less able we are, the less capable we are, the more God’s great power and capability can shine through our lives. Verse 9 of today’s Bible reading God said, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” When we aren’t able to do a job, but it gets done anyway. Then we, and those around us, can clearly see who really got the job done: God. God’s strength shines through our weakness!
“That is why, for Christ's sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.” 2 Corinthians 12:10
Prayer: Heavenly Father, use Your divine power and ability to work through me. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
