Bible Reading: Romans 14:7-11
Do you get frustrated seeing so many people of the people around you ignoring God and rejecting Jesus? Does you heart ache knowing that they need God desperately
and don’t realize it? Does it make you sad to know that so many people don’t believe that Jesus is God?
That won’t last forever. Romans 14:11 says that “It is written: “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’” That means that one day – and it may not be far away – everyone, every single person who has ever lived – will admit that Jesus is Lord and God. When that happens, God will receive all of the glory, honor, and worship that are due Him and we will be there to celebrate!
“…at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:11
Prayer: Heavenly Father, my heart aches for all of those people who need Your salvation. Open their eyes so they will see just how much they need You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
