Bible Reading: Ephesians 5:30
Have you admitted to God that you’re a sinner and told Him that you believe that Jesus died for your sin? If so, you are guaranteed forgiveness from sin and a home in heaven.
If so, Ephesians 5:30 says that you “are members of his body.” You are a child of God.
Are you still unsure that you are a child of God? Note the emphasized words in the verses below:
“For we know, brothers loved by God, that he has chosen you.” (1 Thessalonians 1:4-5)
“Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.” (1 John 3:2)
“Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The LORD, the LORD, is my strength and my song; he has become my salvation.” (Isaiah 12:2)
“For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” (Romans 8:38-39)
“Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand. And we rejoice in the hope of the glory of God.” (Romans 5:1-2)
“Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” (Philippians 1:6)
Yes, you can know for certain that you are going to heaven. You can know without doubt that you are a born again child of God.
Prayer: Heavenly Father, I’m so glad to know that I am Your child. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
