Bible Reading: Proverbs 30:5
Proverbs 30:5 says, “Every word of God is flawless; he is a shield to those who take refuge in him.” We’ve all been told over and over that we need to read God’s word, The
Holy Bible, regularly, preferably every day.
So, once we are regularly reading the Bible, what are we supposed to do with it? What’s the point?
Here’s a list of 25 things that you can do with the Bible:
1. Take it (Ephesians 6:17).
2. Accept it (Acts 8:14).
3. Receive it (Acts 11:1).
4. Listen to it (Luke 3:1).
5. Want to hear it (Acts 13:7).
6. Give it your attention (Acts 6:2).
7. Let it grow in you (Acts 12:24).
8. Be true to it (2 Corinthians 4:2).
9. Let it work in you (1 Thessalonians 2:13).
10.Let it soak into your life (Hebrews 4:12).
11.Memorize it (Psalm 119:11).
12.Obey it (Luke 11:28).
13.Taste its goodness (Hebrews 6:5).
14.Let it live in you (1 John 2:14).
15.Let it strengthen you (Psalm 119:28).
16.Trust it (Psalm 119:42).
17.Build up its value (Titus 2:5).
18.Spread it (Acts 6:7).
19.Proclaim it (Acts 13:35).
20.Speak it (Acts 13:46).
