Bible Verses to Explore: Hebrews 6:7
Hebrews 6: 7 says, "Land that drinks in the rain often falling on it and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is farmed receives the blessing of God."
Our spiritual life is like that garden. The spiritual "fruit" our life produces depends on what we plant and how we care for those seeds.
What are you planting in your "life-garden"?
You can’t go wrong planting honesty and trust. Honesty and trust must be planted together to grow best. Honesty intertwines with trust to develop the roots of the confidence of other in you.
Faithfulness is a beautiful thing to plant in your life-garden. Faithfulness shows you care. It shows you value God, other people, and your relationships with them.
You can never plant enough patience in your life-garden. Lack of patience causes a great amount of stress in the roots of relationships with others.
Understanding, planted alongside your patience helps your patience grow. Understanding fertilizes and enriches your patience so it will have bountiful blooms.
Loyalty is another must in your life-garden. Lots of loyalty allows you to stand by God and family and friends even in the hardest of times. Lots of loyalty makes for a lovely life-garden.
Scatter liberal handfuls of love throughout your life-garden. Without love, the rest of your life-garden will be pale.
Fertilize your life-garden with plenty of prayer and generous time in God’s word. Only with this extra touch will your life-garden reach its fullest, richest potential.
Most importantly, God must be planted firmly in the center of your life-garden. Without God, everything will wither and die.
Let’s pray together. Heavenly Father, make our life-gardens grow beautifully with You at its center. In Jesus' name. Amen.
