It's Your Choice

Bible Reading: Job 34:10-11

Hell is real just as Heaven is real and the chair in which you are sitting is real.

God loves each and every one of us more than words can express. He wants all of us

to be with Him in Heaven forever. He doesn’t want any of us to spend eternity in Hell.

So, why does God send anyone to Hell?

The answer is that God doesn’t send anyone to hell.

Job 34:10 & 11 say, “So listen to me, you men of understanding. Far be it from God to do evil, from the Almighty to do wrong. He repays a man for what he has done; he brings upon him what his conduct deserves.” God can’t pick and choose which evil is worse than some other kind of evil because He is completely sinless. He can’t accept or be around even a “little evil” like unkind actions, white lies, or cheating on a test. God must punish all evil, but He doesn’t want to have to punish us. That was why He sent His own Son, Jesus, to die on the cross.

Jesus’ death was the punishment that we should get for the evil we do. God lets us choose to believe that Jesus died in our place and accept His forgiveness or we can choose to reject Jesus and be punished for our sins ourselves. There are only two choices.

If you choose Jesus, you are choosing Heaven.

If have not chosen Jesus, you have chosen Hell.

There are no other choices.

Heaven or Hell – it’s your choice.

“For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 6:23

Prayer: Heavenly Father, forgive my sins. I want to go to Heaven. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
