Bible Reading: Romans 1:8
In Paul’s letter to the church in Rome, Paul said, “First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world.” Paul was thankful
for the church in Rome.
Just as Paul was thankful that the faith of the Christians in the Roman church was strong and obvious to the world around them, I’m thankful that many in my biological and church families have a strong and growing faith in Christ.
If you are one of those whose faith is strong and growing stronger it’s time for you to reach out and help, your Christian friends grow in their faith in God.
* Ask your friends what they are doing to help their faith grow.
* Tell them what you are doing to help your own faith grow.
* Tell them what God is doing in your life that is strengthening your faith.
* Share with them the tidbits that you find here at PH121: Today, Tomorrow, & Forever! that have helped your faith grow.
* Encourage them and hold them accountable to keep nourishing their faith.
* Ask them to hold you accountable for keeping your faith strong and growing.
Whatever you do, keep your faith growing! Continue to become more like Jesus day-by-day. Make our Heavenly Father proud!
“Therefore let us leave the elementary teachings about Christ and go on to maturity, not laying again the foundation of repentance from acts that lead to death, and of faith in God, instruction about baptisms, the laying on of hands, the resurrection of the dead, and eternal judgment.” Hebrews 6:1 & 2
Prayer: Heavenly Father, help my faith, and the faith of all who believe in Jesus, to grow stronger every day. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
