Bible Reading: Jeremiah 29:11-14
Has your best friend ever planned a birthday party for you or invited you to go someplace great with him, like Disney World or Cedar Point?
How did you feel knowing that your friend thought you were special enough for him to want to do something so wonderful for you?
As special as you are to your best friend, you are even more special to God and God has some even more spectacular plans for you. In Jeremiah 29:11 God made us this promise: “For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”
To take part in any of the plans that God has made for you, you first have to become his “friend.” You do that by believing that Jesus died on the cross for your sins. As soon as you accept that salvation, a huge party will be thrown for you in heaven!
After that, you can look forward to all of the other great plans that God has for you and tells you about in the Bible:
* Eternal life.
* A house in heaven.
* Crowns.
* A new body.
* A share in Christ.
Are you ready to start taking part in God’s plans? Give your life to Him then trust Him to keep His promise and bring all the wonderful things He has planned for you to pass.
“Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.” Proverbs 19:21
