You're Deepest Sorrow

Updated: Mar 26, 2020

Bible Reading: Romans 5:8

Take a moment and think about your deepest secret, something that no one but you knows. Is it something that you are proud of or ashamed of? Do you keep your secret

hidden because it is embarrassing? How would you feel if the person who loves you most were to find out about your secret?

He already knows. God knows all there is to know about you, even your deepest, darkest secret – and He loves you anyway.

Regardless of what you’ve done, God loves you anyway. In fact, Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” Than means that God loved you so much that He sent Jesus, His only Son to die on a cross for you.

Why not come clean and be honest with God. Talk to Him. Tell Him your worst failures, your deepest, darkest secrets. Ask His forgiveness. He will forgive you, because He loves you more than anyone else in the world loves you.

“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.” 1 John 4:9 & 10

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me and for forgiving me, no matter what I’ve done. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
