(We are taking a break from our Wednesday at the Well Bible studies because I know time is often limited during the Thanksgiving and Christmas season. Wednesday at the Well will resume after Christmas. Have a Blessed Thanksgiving, a Merry Christmas, and a Wonderful New Year! - Gayle)
Bible Reading: Luke 22:66-71
What was the most amazing thing that happened on that first Christmas in Bethlehem? Jesus Christ, the Son of God, was born. The all-powerful, all-knowing Son of

God became a fragile, helpless human baby.
Many people believe that Jesus was born on that first Christmas. They believe in the helpless baby. They believe that baby grew up to be a man, a carpenter, and a teacher.
These people don’t all believe that the baby that was born on that first Christmas was the Son of God. Instead, they say Jesus was only “a good man,” “a good teacher,” or “a great prophet.”
After Jesus was arrested, the leaders of the people, priests, and teachers asked Him, “…are you the Son of God?” Jesus said to them, “You are right in saying that I am” (Luke 22:70). Jesus clearly claimed to be the Son of God.
Do you believe that Jesus is the Son of God?
“But these are written so that you can believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God. Then, by believing, you can have life through his name.” John 20:31
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for sending Jesus, the Son of God, that first Christmas to save me from my sin. In Jesus' name. Amen.
