Bible Reading: Philippians 1:15-26
I have a “Life Verse.”
My Life Verse isn’t necessarily my absolute “favorite” Bible verse. I don’t think I could choose only one favorite Bible verse – I have too many.
Today’s Bible verse, Philippians 1:21, is my Life Verse. This verse says, “For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain.” I wrote a paraphrase of this verse and I use it as a kind of monogram on many things that I want to identify as belonging to me. My Life Verse also serves as a way to let people know who I am and how important Jesus is in my life. Most importantly, it reminds me of my goal for my life here on earth and my hope for heaven. This paraphrase is “Today I live for Christ. After death I will live with Christ.”
