Tackle Your Problems

Updated: Mar 27, 2020

Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 10:4 & Ephesians 3:16

How do you deal with your problems? Do you try to go around them or do you tackle them head on?

Jesus’ own actions show us what he expects us to do. When Satan attacked Jesus in the desert by tempting him three times (Matthew 4), Jesus tackled each of Satan’s temptations head on. He didn’t try to avoid the problem or go around it nor did he try to push Satan around using his own human strength. Jesus used the muscle of God’s Word to tackle his problems.

We can’t tackle Satan or our earthly problems successfully on our own using our own strength either, but with the muscle of God’s Word we are unbeatable!

How can you be sure that you will have the strength of God’s Word available when you need it? Memorize it! The more scripture you have memorized, the stronger you will become – you will have the muscle of God’s Word hidden in your heart and mind ready to use to tackle any problem that comes your way.

Paul prayed for the church at Ephesus saying in Ephesians 3:16, “I pray that out of his [God’s] glorious riches he may strengthen you with power through his Spirit in your inner being.” That is my prayer for you.

“The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds.” 2 Corinthians 10:4

Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for showing me how to tackle my problems. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
