Bible Reading: Malachi 3:6a
Does it seem like things around you are changing so fast that you can’t keep up? Do you feel like you aren’t sure who or what you can trust anymore? Does it feel like you are
sailing through life in a boat that is about to tip over?
Thankfully, when those times hit, we have the promise of Malachi 3:6a to cling to. What is this promise? “I the LORD do not change.” Yes, it’s true. God never changes. God is always the same.
* God always keep his promises.
* God always punish evil.
* God always reward obedience.
* God always hate sin.
* God always love sinners (including you and me).
* God always forgive sinners (including you and me).
* God always be there to help anyone who comes to him for help.
When you think that you can’t handle one more change, go to the unchangeable God. He is the same today as he was yesterday and he’ll still be the same tomorrow. When your “boat” is rocking you can count on him to keep it from tipping over.
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” Hebrews 13:8
Prayer: Heavenly Father, my life seems so unstable. I need You. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
