Digi-Journal - CPR (Romans 6:10)

Updated: Mar 27, 2020

This Digi-Journal entry is pretty self-evident. It is an acrostic. The letters CPR. Commonly, these letters represent Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation, and important life-

saving technique.

In the case of my Digi-Journal entry, CPR represents the words “Christ Perfectly Redeems” The absolutely most important – and ONLY – eternal-life-saving method that exists. Romans 6:10 says that “The death he [Jesus] died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God." Because Jesus died on the cross, we can be forgiven of our sins and perfectly redeemed, bought back and adopted into God’s eternal family.

Awesome!

Colossians 1:14 – “In whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.”

Colossians 1:20-22 – “And through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether on earth or in heaven, making peace by the blood of his cross. And you, who once were alienated and hostile in mind, doing evil deeds, he has now reconciled in his body of flesh by his death, in order to present you holy and blameless and above reproach before him.”

1 John 3:16 – “By this we know love, that he laid down his life for us, and we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers.”
