Grow Where God Plants You

Updated: Mar 27, 2020

Bible Reading: Psalm 69:32

Serving God won’t just make you feel good, it is the way to overwhelming joy.

We start out this life empty – we have nothing spiritually. We are spiritually poor.

When we give stop living four ourselves and start living for God, we stop being poor. Psalm 69:32 says, “The poor will see and be glad – you who seek God, may your hearts live!” We become rich. What is the great wealth that God gives us when we serve him with our whole being?

Life. God gives life to our hearts. Our very existence becomes enriched. Our “why am I here?” existence is filled with meaning and purpose. We stop existing and start living!

Does your life feel empty, pointless? Would you like to start really living?

It doesn't need to be that way. Remember, God has "planted" you where you are. He has put you in this time and in this place for a reason. Turn your life over to God and let him make you rich with joy and alive with purpose. Then grow where God plants you!

“I [Jesus] have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” John 10:10 b

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I now know why I’m here. Fill me with the rich joy of living for you. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
