Matthew 13:44 & 45 talk about a treasure, a pearl of great value. These verses read, “The kingdom of heaven is like treasure hidden in a field. When a man found it, he hid it again, and then in his joy went and sold all he had and bought that field. Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant looking for fine pearls.
Today’s Digi-Journal entry is a reminder of this parable (a story that teaches a lesson) told by Jesus. This drawing and the reminder that eternal life in heaven is really and truly a precious gem. The time spent meditating and drawing this reminder was time well-spent.
