Bible Reading: Philippians 2:5-11
Are you trying to break a bad habit? Are you trying to clean up what you say? Are you trying to change the way you treat other people? Are you trying to do what Jesus

would do and act like Jesus would act?
In order to change your outward behavior, the first thing you must do is to adjust your inward attitude.
Today’s Bible passage starts by saying, “Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus…” Now, read the rest of Philippians 2:5-11. Notice the kind of attitude that Jesus had. Jesus put God’s will and God’s plans before his own. He set aside his personal rights for the benefit of others. He loved everyone and acted only in ways that proved that love.
If we want to act like Jesus, we must first have the attitude of Jesus.
What do you need to do to adjust your attitude so it more closely resembles Jesus’ attitude?
“Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things. Whatever you have learned or received or heard from me, or seen in me – put it into practice. And the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 2:8 & 9
Prayer: Heavenly Father, show me where my attitude needs adjusting, then help me to have an attitude like Jesus. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
