Stop Walking the Fence

Bible Reading: 2 Corinthians 6:2

Imagine that you are standing on a fence called “sin”.

Eternity with in Heaven God is on one side of the fence.

Eternity in Hell away from God is on the other side of the fence.

You can walk on the fence. You can sit on the fence. You can straddle the fence, but sooner or later, you will have to get off the fence. When you do, you will have to choose which side of the fence you want to be on.

Don’t wait until you fall away from God forever. 2 Corinthians 6:2 says, “For he says, ‘In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you.’ I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.” God is standing on his side of the fence waiting for you to jump down from the fence and into his waiting arms.

Stop walking the fence. Jump into God’s waiting arms right now and tell him that you want to be on his side of the fence. Tell him that you know that Jesus died for you. Ask him to forgive you for standing on the fence for so long.

Make your choice today. Then you’ll know which side of the fence you’re on.

“But if serving the LORD seems undesirable to you, then choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve...But as for me and my household, we will serve the LORD.” Joshua 24:14

Prayer: Heavenly Father, I’m ready to jump into Your arms. I choose Jesus as my Lord and Savior. I choose to serve You! In Jesus’ name. Amen.
