1 Corinthians 8:6 teaches us about another name of God, a name shared by God’s Son, Jesus. That name is Creator. 1 Corinthians 8:6, “Yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and
for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.”
Some time back, I discovered a wonderful poem by an unknown author that explains Jesus as Creator beautifully. This poem reads:
C hrist was there when
R ivers & oceans & streams were made.
E very star twinkles, every plant blooms, every animal breathes
because of His Word. From
A lligators to man to zinnias
T he Son of God spoke and
O rdered them all to
R ise out of nothingness.
Take time now to thank God the Father and His Son, Jesus Christ, The Creator, for the amazing world they created for us.
“In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways, but in these last days he has spoken to us by his Son, whom he appointed heir of all things, and through whom he made the universe.” Hebrews 1:1 & 2
Prayer: Father God, Lord Jesus, thank You for the amazing, wonderful, beautiful world You created for me to live in. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
