Bible Reading: Mark 16:16
Do you think that is doesn’t matter whether a person believes that Jesus is God that God will let everyone into heaven anyway?
That isn’t what God tells us in the Bible. We read in Mark 16:16, “Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” God says that he will punish those who choose not to believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven. God says he will reward those who choose to believe that Jesus is the only way to heaven. We all have a choice to make -- Believe in Jesus or don’t believe in Jesus. Go to heaven or go to hell. Live eternally or die eternally. We each have to make our own choice as individuals. You can’t make that choice for me. I can’t make that choice for you. Each person is responsible for making that choice for himself or herself.
“I decide later.” Is that what you are thinking? Choosing to wait until later is the same thing as choosing not to believe.
But it’s not too late to choose to believe right now.
You have a choice to make right now. No one can make your choice for you. What will you choose?
“That if you confess with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9
Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for Jesus, the only way to heaven. Forgive my sin. I choose to accept Jesus into my life. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
