Bible Reading: John 6:37
Do you think that you have done something so terrible that God could never forgive you? Do you think that what you’ve done is so awful that God would never want to forgive you? That’s not true. John
6:37 says, “All that the Father gives me will come to me, and whoever comes to me I will never drive away.”
Take a look at this list of some of the Bible’s “super saints.” Look closely at the things that God willingly forgave them for doing.
* Moses was a murderer.
* King David was an adulterer.
* Jacob was a liar and a cheat.
* Rahab was a prostitute.
* Jonah was a coward.
* Matthew was a thief.
* Mary Magdalene was demon possessed.
* Paul, the Apostle, helped to have Christians arrested and executed.
God can forgive you for anything that you have done. God wants to forgive you for everything that you have done.
Please let Him!
“Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.” Romans 6:8-10
Prayer: Heavenly Father, please forgive me. Take charge of my life and give me a fresh start. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
