El Shaddai – God Almighty – The all-powerful, all sufficient God.
“God Almighty” – What a powerful name!
Do you ever feel weak?
God Almighty can give you His strength.
Do you ever feel afraid?
God Almighty can protect you.
Do you ever feel lost?
God Almighty can rescue you.
Do you ever feel incompetent or foolish?
God Almighty can give you knowledge and skill, the competence and understanding to use them, and the discernment and wisdom to know how to use them.
When we have God Almighty – Father, Son, and Holy Spirit – in our lives, we don’t have to be strong or fearless or secure or competent. We simply need to obey God and let Him be those things through us.
God Almighty, fill my life, and the lives of my readers, with Your strength, courage, comfort, and wisdom. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
