Bible Reading: Titus 3:4-7
Do sometimes feel dirty and useless? Do you sometimes feel like God couldn’t ever possibly love you or want to forgive you? Do feel that even if God did forgive you, you would still feel dirty and
unusable by God?
God can and will forgive anything that you have done. No matter how “dirty” you think it is.
When God forgives you, he will wash you clean, absolutely spotless in Jesus’ blood. God’s forgiveness doesn’t just make you clean, it makes you so sanitary that God will be able to use you for even the most delicate of tasks. God’s forgiveness makes you holy. Jesus’ blood washes you clean inside and out.
Best of all, there is no charge for this cleaning service. Titus 3:5 & 6 say that Jesus “saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior.” The salvation and forgiveness that Jesus bought with His blood is free for each of us. All we need to do is ask God for it.
Won’t you ask God to wash you with Jesus’ blood and make you as “clean as a whistle” right now?
“The blood of goats and bulls and the ashes of a heifer sprinkled on those who are ceremonially unclean sanctify them so that they are outwardly clean. How much more, then, will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself unblemished to God, cleanse our consciences from acts that lead to death, so that we may serve the living God!” Hebrews 9:13 & 14
