Sunday, September 20, 2015 is National Back to Church Sunday. If you haven’t been to church in a while, or know of someone who has been away from church, now is your chance. Mt. Zion United Brethren Church, 7481 Bays Road, is planning a special worship service at 9:30 am followed by a FREE lunch. From 12-2pm, we will have four inflatable games set up for kids up to 5th grade: Bounce House, Jousting, Bungee Run, and Adrenaline Rush (obstacle course). From 3-7 pm the three large inflatables, ousting, Bungee Run, and Adrenaline Rush, will be available for teens in grades 6-12. By participating in the special event, we will join thousands of other churches across America. Here's the schedule of events. We invite you to join us!
Did you know that most people that have dropped out of church haven’t lost their faith in God, they simply fell out of the habit of going to church? Some moved. Some had a change of circumstances. Some had a falling out with their former church and simply drifted away. Most often, life just became too busy. This means that many of those people are open to returning to church. They just need someone to ask them.
Therefore, I’m asking you…will you come to church with me on Sunday, September 20? Here’s a map to help you find Mt. Zion UB Church. I’m looking forward to seeing you there.
